Stephen L. Larson, CPA, MBA, is a Principal in the audit practice with Stonefield Josephson and is Co-Founder and Senior Partner of Caporicci & Larson, a subsidiary of Stonefield Josephson.

By leveraging more than 30 years of public accounting and auditing experience in the government, insurance, financial services, manufacturing and non-profit sectors, Steve brings in-depth knowledge and practical expertise to each client engagement. Currently, Steve coordinates, plans and manages financial audit activities, federal and state compliance audit activities and numerous quality control and internal control reviews for a broad mix of governmental agencies and programs throughout California.

Before co-founding Caporicci & Larson, Steve held financial leadership positions in the private sector, including eight years in various positions as Vice President, Controller and Treasurer with American Express and its subsidiaries.

Steve has held adjunct faculty, lecturer and assistant professor positions at colleges and universities throughout California, and he serves as a guest lecturer with various professional, civic and private organizations.
