Rob Babek is the Principal in Charge of the Los Angeles Office.

Rob Babek, CPA, shareholder and business advisor, provides tax consulting and compliance, and assurance/accounting services for individuals and corporations. He is an expert in the area of S corporation taxation and his industry concentrations include manufacturing, distribution, retail, apparel, and real estate. Additionally, Rob conducts the firm's personnel matters, which include directing recruitment in the Southern California offices.

Why I Enjoy Working Here

I came to work here in 1985 because I was impressed by the technology that Stonefield had at that time. I came from a Big 8 firm that was just introducing the computer to its staff, while the staff here were already using computers in everyday practice. Since then, I have seen the firm grow from about 30 people and one location to its present size. I decided I wanted to work here because of all the great employees and the type of clients that we service. Over the years, this job has allowed me to meet world class athletes, Hollywood actors and actresses, an astronaut, and many dynamic business owners. I could have done many things for a living, but none of them would have provided me with such a wide range of experiences, both socially and professionally. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.
