Luis M. Puncel, CPA, is Director of Assurance Services at Stonefield Josephson. His responsi-bilities include managing the audit practice; setting auditing and other attestation policies; and providing technical expertise on various accounting and auditing issues. Luis has overall responsibility for professional development and continuing education. He oversees the firm’s compliance, quality control, and risk management policies.

Luis has over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing and professional services. Before joining Stonefield Josephson, he was the director of compliance at Universal Electronics in Cypress, California. Previously, he was an assurance and business advisory services partner and market managing partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
