Leonard
H. Lyons
Leonard H. Lyons, J.D., CFE, Cr.FA, AVA, is a Director of the Stonefield
Josephson Valuation, Litigation & Forensic Group. Len has over
12 years of expert witness experience on behalf of attorneys involved
in litigation, including breach of contract, stockholder and partner
disputes, profit participation disputes, projection of lost profits
and diminished goodwill, business interruption, forensic accounting,
bankruptcy fraud, white collar crime and intellectual property.
He also has significant experience in both arbitration and mediation
proceedings.
Len is an attorney at law, an Accredited Valuation Analyst, a Certified
Forensic Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He has served
on the National Committee for Financial Institutions for the Association
of Certified Fraud Examiners and acted as the National Director
of Claims Litigation Resolution Policies and Procedures for the
Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). Len has lectured on securities
claims development and asset tracing for the RTC and is a lecturer
for California State University, Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Stonefield Josephson, Len was senior vice president
and director of the conflict resolution services division of FMV
Opinions, Inc. and director of commercial litigation in the accounting
and litigation services firm of White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna,
Wolf & Hunt, LLP. Len was also a senior manager for litigation
and claims resolution services with Moss Adams, LLP and director
of investigations for the FDIC and manager of special investigations
for the RTC. Len possesses more than a decade of experience in investment
banking and mergers and acquisitions, and was director of legal
affairs and new business development for Daylight Chemical Information
Systems, Inc.
