Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of an audit for public and private clients;
provide guidance and expertise
- Research complex and specialized accounting and auditing issues
- Originate new ideas and business solutions that result in exceptional
service to existing clients
- Establish the expectations of the engagement and monitor client
accounts including billing, fee analysis, and opportunities for
new service development; demonstrate a deep understanding of the
client’s industry
- Assist with the career development of team members, both as
a mentor and as a trainer during in-house, continuing professional
education presentations
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance
feedback and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, plus
8 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA certification
- SEC experience strongly preferred, but not required
- Applied working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS and PCAOB Auditing
Standards
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are required,
as well as excellent supervisory and project management skills
