Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of an audit for public and private clients
• Research technical accounting and auditing issues
• Promote new ideas and business solutions that result in exceptional service to existing clients
• Communicate progress of engagements, problems and resolutions to client and engagement management
• Plan, schedule and staff engagements using firm policies and procedures
• Review and maintain engagement budgets as well as take responsibility for controlling costs and maintaining efficiency
• Supervise staff and provide on-the-job training
• Assist with the career development of team members, both as a mentor and as a trainer during in-house continuing professional education presentations
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback and training

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, plus 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm
• CPA certification
• SEC experience preferred, but not required
• Applied working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS and PCAOB Auditing Standards
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are required, as well as excellent supervisory and project management skills
